Caulfield North is a Pipkorn Kilpatrick interior design project completely focused on the removal, rather than addition, of an existing home’s features.

The Arts and Crafts house in question had been previously extended in the 1980s, introducing some fantastic elements (exposed natural stone surfaces) and some less desirable (dated bulkheads), which differed from the original design intent.

Pipkorn Kilpatrick stripped back these unsympathetic additions, reconfigured the floor plan, and restored period the features not already altered by the earlier 1980s renovation, creating more generous and sophisticated living spaces to suit a family of five in Caulfield North, Victoria.
